This zine was a collaborative effort between myself and two collaborators, Olivia Dinger and Kuhoo Bhatnagar. We wanted to discuss the intersectional feminist experience surrounded by the immigrant experience. We had our own separate experiences on the topic; Bhatnagar was a first-generation immigrant from India, with myself being second-generation with immigrant parents from Colombia, and Dinger was a third-generation with immigrant grandparents from Poland.

The beauty of this zine which was revealed during its creation was the subtle commentary and reverence of The Generational Gifts’ intended predecessor, The Riot Grrrls movement. The commentary of the movement was in its lack of representation and the reverence of the movement was in its ability to confidently showcase the voices of young women around he world
